Rayan Turns One!

I’m very tired, but it’s Rayan‘s birthday today so I have to write something!

Yes… it is indeed Rayan’s first birthday. Time does fly by fast, but at the same time it has been a while since that hospital when those miniscule fingers were barely able to grasp one finger of mine. Needless to say, I’m a very proud aunt. Some people say a baby’s cuteness disappears around this time… but I disagree. I’m still waiting for his first [intended] word, his first real steps, his first sentence, his first day at kindergarten and so on. It will take many years before we’re through with all the cute firsts. And I hope I am here to witness most of them .
