This is not simply posting twice in a day, this is double-posting as in two posts in a row. Sorry for that… but to be fair I haven’t been blogging every single day for the past couple of weeks, and I haven’t received an award in… years… I think. Yes, I just received the
by Roshni (kindly see this post). The name of her blog is Thinkingg Out Loud and it’s one of the more recent blogs I’ve started following. As I might have mentioned somewhere, I much prefer personal blogs where the author writes about anything and everything… and you don’t really know what to expect in the coming post. And I find Roshni’s blog very interesting, especially as I’ve been able to relate to a lot of what I’ve read there. So do make sure to check it out. I’m sure if you follow my blog for similar reasons, you will find hers most interesting .
With the risk of sounding like copycat, I also feel very honored to receive this award. It’s not everyday you hear that someone feels inspired by you. Let’s take this opportunity to think about inspiration. What does it mean to you? To me, inspiration can be a whole lot of things. You might feel motivated to do something you’ve been wanting to do for a long time, or you might simply feel… enlightened… figuratively speaking. It can be something as simple as a quote by some supposedly famous dude you don’t even know of… or it can be a friend simply doing something silly to cheer you up. Or… it can be receiving a blog award . Either way, inspiration is something we need on a regular basis. Without it, our lives are devoid of even a chance of magic.
And now… apparently I have to share seven facts about myself and nominate fifteen more people for this award. So here goes…
- I have a problem with my nails; I don’t like the shape of them.
- I love kissing my nephew on his chin because it’s so tiny!
- I love making children, especially babies, laugh.
- I love scented candles.
- I have a big ass bug flying around in my room right now!
- I can’t kill mosquitoes with my bare hands because then I get their flesh and blood on me and that’s just gross.
- I have once killed a cockroach kid (what do you call them?), in Bangladesh, with hairspray. Or maybe frozen it… I don’t know .
Alright… now to step 2. As you can see on the list below, among my widgets, I only follow 24 blogs. Among these blogs, some are dormant. So instead of just randomly nominating/awarding people, I have chosen nine very interesting blogs instead.
Oh and guys… don’t forget to post the picture of the award as well .
